It's because I'm in the hospital.
Oh, don't worry, guys! I'm okay!
Really! I am!
I just have to go in for my annual bone marrow testing. Basically, I go in to the hospital, empty stomach, and...
*They draw some blood (bi-annual blood test)
*They check my blood pressure/height/weight/temperature
*They bring me to the OR area
*They re-check my vital stats
*They knock me out
*They stick a giant needle in my back (hip, really, but the back of it...)
*They suck out the bone marrow
*I wake up cranky, tired, and miserable
Then I go home and lie down for the rest of the day.
Or, at least, until the dizziness from the anastheisa (sp?!?) goes away.
This is all because I have a stupid genetic disorder. (Read about it in the first post of my PTR)
So WISH ME LUCK that everything is normal, as it usually is, and they find nothing wrong with either my blood or my bone marrow!!
I'm just really nervous. I've done this once a year since I was 5, and I still freak out the day before, and that day.
So, if I'm not on the DIS, it's because I'm laying on my bed, moping.
