Welcome to my first pre-trip. I hope to share and learn.
I have been planning on a trip in early December but I may have to change those plans. See my DH-Tyson is apply for a new job with my step dad. There is a good chance he will get this job and well since his year will not be up in December to take vacation I may have to do the unthinkable and move the dates.
I am sad as I love the Christmas time and really wanted my DD's and their families to see it then but then again a new job would be very nice!! So now I am in limbo to when we are going? Dec.? Jan.? Feb.? So now you will have to wait and see with me.
So lets see who is coming. It's me, Michele,(41) loves all things Disney, collects tinkerbell and loves the villains. My favorite ride is the haunted mansion.
My DH Tyson (45)and deals with Disney because he loves me. He thinks I am obsessed and well he may be right?lol He is a big supporter of me so I can't complain. Not to mention he's hot and stuck around with me for over 23 yrs.lol
DD1 Brittany (22) and loves Disney but not as hard core as me. She will last a long time at the parks with me so this is good. She likes Snow White and her fav. story is Peter Pan.
Her son my DGS Tristen (3). His first love was Eeyore he named money. On his first trip to WDW with DH and I in 09 he picked it and then called him money. Now it's Mickey Mouse and Buzz and Woody. He is a love bug that loves all things boy. Dino's and cars mostly. He's been a bit slow in talking but he is going into a special program this week and I am sure he will pick it up fast. We have him over all the time to stay the night.
Brittany's fiance' Nate (29) and has never been to WDW or Disneyland. So this will be quite the fun time for him. He is very excited to see what all the talk is about. Not sure he has a fav. yet but by the time I am done with him he will.
DD2 Katy (20). She laughs at me every time I say hey look at this or that. Or if I call and say I just saw this. She just says another Disney thing? She likes Alice in Wonderland and Ariel.
Her daughter my DGD Khloe (7m now). She is my Minnie girl. I call her that all the time and gave her her first Minnie and told her mom to make sure she sleeps with it and uses it to calm her down. Of course she loves watching the Mickey Mouse club house. So can't wait to take her on her first trip. She is a funny baby.
Katy's fiance' Chason (25) has not been to WDW but has done Disneyland. He is supper excited to go and see it as I keep telling him new things. He is really wanting to do a fancy hotel but I explained the cost isn't worth it to us as we are never there. He can't wait to try some of the restaurants too. He sells time share and would love to get one there. Not sure how that works?

I think we have the hotel picked out unless Chason can score a time share. I think we will get two rooms at POR AB side. I like the new morphine bed for the kids. We have stayed there in the past but not in the AB side. We can put three adults (DH and I will split up and help each of the kids out). Hopefully will get a connecting room as that will make it so much easier.
Can't wait to figure out a date to go. Darn new job. JK as my poor DH hasn't had a good steady job in a couple years as Vegas has basically no construction anymore. The new job will be a whole new career for him in gaming. I think that should last in Vegas don't you?
So for now I will make a wish as it will happen and a dream big. And we all know this is big.
I am also hoping to talk my BFF into coming with her DS but will see. She went as a kid and says she didn't care so much for it. I said you have missed a lot since then.
I also wanted my mom and step dad to come too but they don't think they can afford it. Gosh I wish I could help but not sure that will happen.
Oh and the rest of the family wants to add some time for a cruise too. The family has gone before (not the little ones nor the fiance's ) so they really want to see what we brag about there. So if the money is available we may add it to the trip? Time will tell.

Can someone help me? I need to learn how to add links to this. I like ready post that have them as it makes it easier to keep up. I just don't know how to do it and edit it after the time frame. Or is there now time frame?

Ok enough for tonight. Bachelor is on soon and I want to watch it.

So I don't know about you but when I need a Disney fix and can't go I just jump on the Dis. I read about hotels, families, trip reports and just try to sum merge myself in.
I can't tell you how many times I have priced out a trip changing this or that. Knowing I will be hoping for free Dinning as we all want to have some really good food and like the idea it's already paid for. Plus we are a big family so it's worth it. Gosh we are thinking of even upgrading as we love to sit down and eat, but I worry of wasting too much time. Hmm will see what we do when it's time I guess?
Anyone having a good start to the new year? Anyone think it's pretty cool Disney will be open 24 hours for leap year? I am not sure if I could hang that long but still cool.
I entered to win the free trip of course but who didn't right?
Well we have Tristen over visiting us. I was showing him some Disney stuff on here.
I think the good thing about having to postpone our trip is we can surprise him on Christmas. I have always wanted to do that.

Big change in plan. I have been in the hospital all week. I have several clots in my left lung (pulmonary embolism). My life is now changing so fast and it's scaring the crap our of me.
My surrogacy is out of the question (at least a year but I think forever). I am not able to work for a bit. Scared how the heck will make our bills. NV has no state disability and I work pt so no health insurance.
I'm on blood thinners and have to stay on them for months and months. Not only that but because I was so healthy and no prior signs of this they say the kind I have may mean I will get cancer. So one other worry for me.
Just so sick of all of this. I want my trip to Disney. I want my life. I want to breath again.
I still hope to make Disney one day (maybe two years instead of one?). I just hope my job keeps me or that I find one that can offer me more.
I hope my DJ gets a job as we still never heard from the other one.
So feel lost with out my pixie dust.
