Depends on what you class as first thing, if you get there early you won't really need to queue to get registered but you will still have to wait until 12 to get on board, it took us around an hour to get there from disney boardwalk, have a wonderful time.

Also,

Once you have your KTTY cards you don't have to stay in the terminal and wait to board. But why not, and board early? Figure the cost per hour you're paying for your cruise and you might want to stay.

9:30 a.m. You will be at the terminal around 10:30 when it opens. (not sure what WLV is, but if it is in Orlando this should be fine)
