If I upgrade to a D300 . . . .

Will I be disappointed with the quality of my lenses? 'Cause if I shell out $1800 for a new camera body, there won't be much new glass in my near future.

Here's the scenario: I've had a Nikon D70 w/ 18-70mm kit lens for a little over 3 years. I'll likely sell those together if I upgrade. I recently purchased the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 and will purchase a wide angle lens soon, probably either the Tokina 12-24mm f4 DX or Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6D EX DC HSM. I also have the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 (which I don't think has been on my camera since I got the Tamron) and the Nikkor 55-200 f/4-5.6G ED (no VR), which I use pretty infrequently.

We're hoping to spend a good bit of the summer in and around Park City, Utah, so I want to be able to get some great pictures of the scenery. I guess my question, which may be a stupid one, is whether my lenses are of sufficient quality to justify the D300. I know there are plenty of photographers who advocate sacrificing the camera body in favor of better glass when you can't have it both ways. I'm not sure I totally agree with that, but I don't want to go too far in the other direction.

The 28-75 alone would be great for this camera. I bought it after Christmas and I don't think I have taken it off in over 300 pictures of my new baby girl. I also have the Sigma 10-20, and the nifty 50. If my wife would let me I would buy this camera in a heartbeat with these three lenses only.

Thanks. That's kind of what I figured, but I want to be sure I've considered everything before I take the plunge.
