If I rent DVC points, can I use Magical Express?

Does anyone know if DVC members/guests/renters can use Magical Express? We're planning to go in November and rent a villa. I assume if I rent from Disney, that Magical Express is included, but I'm not sure about private rentals. Thanks in advance for your help.

Possibly, maybe even probably - but no one can say for sure just yet.

Someone asked Member Services if DVC members will be able to take advantage of the Magical Express Program and the answer was yes. No details yet. We assume that MS will have to book it, since they are the only ones that can book points reservations.

If this is available to renters, I am very sure that the member/owner will have to book it on your behalf. It may end up to be a bit tricky if MS sends the baggage tags and info to the member - who would then need to forward it to the renter in a timely manner. (All speculation on my part. No details have been published/released yet).

My advice is to advise the member that you are interested and then keep an eye on this forum for additional information. I'm expecting to hear more as it gets closer to May, 2005. Since you aren't planning to go until November, you should have plenty of time to make the arrangements if you decide to go that route.

Many thanks for your replies. I guess I will just wait and see how it works out when the service is up and running in May. You're right though, it will be tricky with renters and members and luggage tags.
