It's okay if I can't, I just don't know the rule on that. It's my first DVC vacation and since I just booked for a June trip, I couldn't get BCV (on wait list) I took BWV. I've been telling my DGD8 about SAB, but, I'm sure BWV pool will do fine if we can't use SAB this trip. Thanks to DVC, I know we'll be back!

No -you must be staying at BCV to use SALB

You can use the community hall - it has lots of games

The official rule is "no." You have to be staying at BCV at the time. I imagine it would not hurt to go over there to eat and ASK the lifeguards, explaining your situation. The worst they can do is say NO. When we were there last, a woman was arguing with a manager over her family swimming there. From what I heard they were staying over at Boardwalk and by the end of the exchange they brought her the ID bracelets so she could stay. A bellhop told me it never hurts to ASK and if it isn't crowded they will probably say it's OK.

There is a number on your room key that reflect BC, this is what needs to be on your current room key to swim at SAB.

I hate hearing that someone got to swim at SAB by making a scene. Another "special" person. Diana

Diana, the lady WAS making a scene. I got so nosey that I almost broke my neck leaning over to hear what was going on. I really couldn't hear much, and people around were being polite and trying not to stare, but the woman was clearly challenging the request to leave. A manager came out and they talked for quite a few minutes. Finally management conceded and I saw them bring out the bracelets and the family stayed. I guess they handled it as professionally as possible. What can they really do when someone refuses to leave?

Perhaps there was some misunderstanding and the woman explained that, so they said "Well, OK for THIS time..." Again, I was dying to hear what was going on and my dh was mocking me for being so curious!

Colleen, I'd be doing the same thing! And my DH probably would be listening too. Jennymouse, forgot to mention, the wait list works very well. Don't give up if you really want to stay at BCV, even call the week before you go. I got to stay there last summer by calling the last week. Diana

What would be done anywhere when someone is being disorderly ? Unfortunately, Disney trys to avoid unpleasantness like the plague, rather than crack down on some of these
"special" people.
