I wear sandals with Jeans all the time and with pants ect... and I think it looks very nice!! Especially with a heel!!!! (Also rmeber I live in Florida) I think in the first pic I ever posted I had on Jeans and sandals infact I think it was me and two friends and we all had jeans and sandals.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think Jeff was referring to men wearing sandals with pants. I don't think he was thinking about how women consider so many different types of shoes in the sandal category. I think sandals for women can look nice with pants, but only dressy sandals or casual sandals, not sports sandals - they should only be worn with shorts/work out stuff. I think most men's sandals do look weird with pants. There are also those weird European leather sandals that some men think look good....but they don't! To illustrate my line of thought I have included what I consider to fall into the categories.

Women dressy sandals (can be worn with pants):

the heel

Women's casual sandals (can be worn with pants):

the wedge

the thong/flip flop

Women's sporty sandals (shouldn't be worn with pants):

nike straprunners

Men's sporty/casual/dressy sandals (shouldn't be worn with pants):

A lot of guys here wear sandals with pants and it looks very stylish. The younger guys wear flip flops with jeans and the older ones wear ones kinda like disney845's last picture. I think they're made by Merrell or something like that. Anyhow, it has that resortwear look to it and it's the good looking, in-style guys that are wearing them.

I'm surprised hockey guy doesn't like faded t-shirts. Granted I only wear them to soccer games I'm playing in, but I love old t-shirts for soccer games.

I musat be really old. I think as long as it isn't too small/tight and you love it and feel comfy in it, then wear it. I couldn't care less.
Of cousre, this comes from a girl who wears Birkis and jeans and sometimes socks! LOL

Jeff if you hate cowboy clothes aren't you in the wrong part of the U.S.? Also, there seems to be a certain age(post-retirement) where men decide that it's ok to wear dark socks and dress shoes with shorts. And finally, how do you know if a man has his shirt tucked into his underwear?

I think we should all be able to go to work in our PJ's, except for buff sleepers.
I think everybody should wear white on monday, blue on tuesday, red on wednesday, yellow on thursday and black on fridays. Weekends are clothing/color optional.
People can wear slippers or sandals. But, if wearing sandals w/out socks you have had to have had a pedicure within the past 2-3 weeks.
Accessorizing would be encouraged.
This would simplfy lives so much, no suit no ties no trends just PJ's all day everyday.

LOL! I must be way older than you Buckalew, probably in the age bracket Micca is talking about, because I don't even care if someone wears something to tight/small. As long as as someone likes what they're wearing, I'm happy. But this is coming from a woman who wears jeans and Birks and doesn't mind speedos.

You said unless you're a lumberjack or trucker you shouldn't wear flannel...I think you should include farmers in that statement too. My DH is a farmer and wears flannel shirts often, he has older ones for work, and nice new ones for the rest of the time.
With Wrangler jeans I think he looks pretty sexy!!!
