What restaurant would give me the most *bang* for my buck?

I don't necessarily want to know "what restaurant has the cheapest menu" (though I'd sort of like to know that too!), but what is the best VALUE when considering price, quantity AND quality?

Any park (MK, Epcot, HS, or AK), probably not interested in including the resorts (unless you REALLY think your pick is the BEST).

Interested in hearing about Counter Service AND Table Service.

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner? (And I'm assuming lunch - we don't do breakfast generally - we usually do breakfast by way of granola bars or organic pop tarts in our room and eat an early-ish lunch.)

Party of 7 - see ages below in my siggy.

I look forward to hearing any and all suggestions. (Approximate prices appreciated.)

THANKS!!

I like Chef Mickey's! Ok it's a character meal and set price but the interaction is fun (for adults too) and there was always plenty to eat - it's a buffet.

well for starters, if you're going to be paying out of pocket and want to keep the cost down, I'd go for a counter service. Then, if you're looking for a good quantity of food (and don't want burgers/hotdogs) then try these:

At MK, go to Cosmic Rays, and do the ribs & chicken combo meal (w/mashed potatoes & green beans)

At AK, go to Flametree BBQ and do either the ribs or the smoked chicken combo meal (w/cornbread muffin and baked beans)

At DHS, go to Pizza Planet and do the pizza combo (w/personal sized pizza and side salad)

At Epcot, go to Tangierine Cafe and do the shwarma platter (lamb & chicken w/cucumber sauce, several sides...if you like gyros, you'll like this.) OR go to Sunshine Seasons/The Land...many many choices, cooked fresh.

These are all favorites of ours...good food, good value (your "disney adult" kids may want to split some of these...large amounts of food.)

These recommendations are spot on for the best "bang for your buck" in each respective park. Nice going.

I know you said you weren't really breakfast people but have you considered the latest possible breakfast seating at a buffet? Then you could pay breakfast prices but it more a lunch! I would recommend Boma...best food we had the entire 10 days we were there and very reasonable price. Tons of choice for everyone.

thanks

I thought about maybe doing "brunch." 11AM maybe? 10:30?

I love Boma! But it's pretty far out of the way, isn't it?

My suggestion would be burgers at Sci-fi for lunch. http://allears.net/menu/menu_sci.htm It has a really fun atmosphere & the burgers are great. They're also reasonably priced (per WDW standards). If you guys aren't big eaters, you could share. My DH & I shared a burger w/ fries. The server even brought it out in seperate plates. I then cut my 1/2 in 2 & gave him 1/2 of it. We also ordered an order of onion rings for 4 of us to share. My DH nor I were able to finish the fries or o-rings.
