If I do an "add on", what's the minimum number of pts I must buy?

This question goes hand-in-hand with my next question:

Let me begin by saying that we just bought pts for OKW.

Let's say we decide to buy an add'l 50 points (or whatever the minimum may be) at BCV (just hypothetical...could be any DVC resort). Now, let's say I want to stay at BCV, and at 11 months out I call and attempt to book a room. The room I'm looking at will be 200 points.....will they let me use my remaining OKW points to complete the booking, or will they tell me that I'll have to wait an add'l 4 months to make this reservation because BCV is not my home resort.

I'm sorry if this is confusing, but I am hoping one of you will have an answer.

The minimum add on is 25 points, 50 points for Disney to finance. You can buy any number greater, like 27, 33, 77 whatever. Not limited to 25 point increments.

You ONLY get the 11 month at the HOME resort where you own the points. So in your example, NO you can not use OKW points at 11 months for BCV.

25 point minimum. If points are not available at the resort you want, you may need to waitlist.

In your example, at 7-months you would have 250 points to use at any resort. You could mix and match the points any way you wanted. They would not have to be points for a full day all from one 'home resort'.

Example, you want one day at VWL that requires 24 points. At 7-months, you could use 20 OKW points and 4 BCV points, or any other combination you wanted.
