I have been working on a project for breast cancer (my family has been hit hard by cancer and 4 of the women in my family have fought a battle with it or are still fighting. I lost my mom to lung cancer a while back) Anyway I have come up with a set of pictures that I have taken and colored in. I have sent it off to the ACS and they wanted a proto type of what I had in mind. I had two made and now I am working on the final version. Here are 14 pictures I have come up with and I would not mind a little input on what everyone thought.

I went with some strong visions here so please keep that in mind when you look as some of them have brought up some strong feelings in others.

Thank you for looking and I will keep you updated with any info I get on it.

Take a look and let me know what you think.

Let's wave good by to it = Let's wave goodbye to it

"one" in one can find support among many should be capitalized

I like a lot of the pictures. I have trouble picking which I like best. Good work!

I think they are great. I also noticed the changes to the wording that was suggested by PP. In addition, the last photo "With every step we get closer to opening the door to a cure"---it looks like there is an extra space between "a" and "cure."

I think it's great that you put this together and I hope everyone likes it--the photos are :thumbsup2

Very nice job with great photos, and a great sentiment. Other than the suggestions for corrections the others have mentioned above, the shots look fine.

Just a little aside, since this has nothing to do with the actual slides themselves - but each of them is labeled "calander" rather than "calendar". Just in case you wanted to correct those...though they won't have any impact on the actual calendar pages.

Very good of you to make such a thing for such a good cause.

As a breast cancer survivor (7 years now!), thank you! That's a powerful set of images. My favorite is the beacon of hope.

I also suggest the wording changes that the PP mentioned, plus the last photo ("with every step we take) seems a little out of place - all of the others are B&W with a touch of pink, but this one has too much color.

If you have any control of the placing of the photos in the calendar, "One can find support" and "We are all touched" should not be consecutive months - the photos are too similar. By the way, I just love the way you matched the touch of pink to the words on these 2 photos; nice job!:thumbsup2

Great job! Please let us know what happens with your project.

Personal favs: Beacon of hope, & we are all touched by cancer

I agree with the above poster....rather startling to get to the last one and it be in all color after the others in B&W. I think part of the touching symbolism for me was the contrast between the B&W of the picture and the pink accents.

Great job! :thumbsup2

I agree that the color in the last picture seems out of place and the two with boats should not be in consecutive months. Other than that excellent work!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

They are beautiful. I agree with the PP and would only add, put a period at the end of each statement. What a wonderful thing you are doing.

Thank you... I have made the corrections on the originals.

Thank you! From another Survivor - 5 1/2 years for me. :goodvibes

I only had a minute to glance at them but loved what I saw, pink looks great. Will try to look more closely this weekend.

Just wanted to say thank you. My Mother is a 9+ year breast cancer survivor. My wife is team leader for her office ACS walk. This is a very personal battle for my family as well. Thank you for taking the time to do this. I thought the idea for the pink highlights in the pictures was really nice.

Best of luck with the project and wth your family!

Awesome job...just lost my Dad to cancer 2 months ago...Thank you for helping with the fight.:lovestruc
