If i cancelled my hotel reservation.....

hi everyone,

If anyone out there has done this can you please help me? currently I have reservations at Best Western park place Inn...but with the new fall promo- i am really thinking of canceling the resi and going with the GCH...If i book before Sept 30 I get a great discount. But I need to pay a big deposit. So say I pay the deposit and we change our minds mid- Oct... would I get that deposit back? would I be penalized? Same with BWPPI, will the charge me a fee for canceling? On their website it was mentioning that we had to pay all of it up front for BWPI, but when we called them to see if that was true they said no. Also the website says no canceling is allowed etc. So I was wondering how true that was too. I heard several people on dis boards who make multi reservations to see who will get the best rat- but I am not sure if they had penalty fees for canceling. Please help me ty!!

If you are talking about the room only promo. for the GC There is no cancellation fee as long as you cancel at least 5 days in advance.
They will take a deposit of one nights stay. Usually your most expensive night.

For room only reservations they will reimburse your deposit as long as you cancel within 5 days. It takes a day or two. We did this in December.
