If I cancel and re-book, what happens to our ADR's?

I have a bunch of ADR's made, and when I called to make them, all they asked me for was my home phone number and which resort we would be staying at.

We're going to be cancelling our origninal booking, to add dates and change the resort. Will we lose our ADR's, or will it be okay as long as the name and phone number are the same?

Before changing your resort reservation be sure you have all your ADR information written down, to include date, time, location and reservation number. When you call to make the room reservation change tell the person on the phone what you will be doing. Make sure the new reservation is actually made with a confirmation number before cancelling the old one. Ask the person at reservations to make sure the dining is now linked to the new reservation before cancelling the old one in the system. Then immediately call back and talk to dining to make sure that nothing has disappeared.

I don't think it should cancel anything as offsite guests can make ADR's as well. It's not connected to a reservation.

As long as you have your ADR confirmation number and you are keeping your reservations for the same dates and times, you should be all set. If you are concerned, you can always call dining and update them with your new resort information. If you are calling to make new ADRs because of your extended stay, this is convenient. Based on your phone number, the CM can view all your ADRs and can make changes to all of them at one time.

I just did this last week and was assured that my ADR's are not connected to my room resservation. I did call back to confirm my ADR's were still in place and everything was just as I had scheduled. You should have no problems.
