Just do yourself a favor. If you have a favorite DVC resort then buy there.

I saying on these boards is to BUY WHERE TO WANT TO STAY. if you can't get the resort you want at 7 months or less your left with your HOME resort so make sure you like it.

This is not true. from 11 months until 7 months before your checkout day you may book your home resort while competing only with owners of your own resort. At 7 months everyone and anyone may book your home resort.

The benefit to purchasing where you like to stay is the 11 to 7 month booking window you have more of a chance of getting something with one resorts owners ( your own ) then owners of EVERY resort at 7 months and less.

Also your equal member once you own.
