If I book with DC now...

Quick question...

If I book now with DC for September and a better rate code comes out later (which I am hoping for) how do I go about switching my ressie?

Book now, switch later....

But depending on how you book it, you may have different payment due dates. I've done it several times this year and they do it on the spot, over the phone. They also may send you a new written confirmation statement.

you just call cro and have them switch it. the only thing is, you won't be able to transfer a wdtc (dc) deposit over to cro. at least you couldn't in november. i had to get a refund of the dc deposit and put down another deposit on the ap rate through cro.

Dallas_Lady, I booked with WDTC and got a DC rate for my Grand Plan package. Then the DISavers service came out and I joined them immediately. I asked DISavers to take over my WDTC reservation and they did. I will be saving an additional (almost) 10% on my reservation through DISavers (minus the membership fee and the $15 booking fee). I am thrilled.

One of the nicest features of the new DISavers is the following:

This service provides that our agents will check your reservation at least every 45 days to determine if a better price is available for your vacation. After your vacation is booked, Dreams Unlimited will actively search out better prices, and when possible, convert your reservation to the lower price. No change fees are assessed when a reservation is changed to a lower price (either by the client or by the agent).

We booked our July 2002 trip last October through DC and 2 weeks ago I called them back and they were able to re-book us with an AP discount. They credited my $100 deposit on my CC and charged it one night stay via CRO and sent me a new ressie number and itinery. The DC was able to handle all of this for us.
