Is that considered an on-site to get the early morning passes? How far from the park? I am guessing a shuttle runs back and forth?

And second questions -

on-site hotels offer two things?

a) early entrance time
b) "fast passes" for most rides?

thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

No, the only onsite hotels are the Portofino Bay, the Hard Rock Hotel and the Royal Pacific Resort.

You can get early morning access to some off site resorts by booking a Harry Potter Package through the main website www.universalorlando.com This package does not give you unlimited express access though, like the onsite hotels.

These packages include accommodation and park tickets as well as one breakfast at the Three Broomsticks.

The real onsite hotels do include early entrance and express line access.

I had just called Universal and was told that you can buy the unlimited express access separately from your park ticket. Depending on the month, it can be 31.99 a day. I plan to go in June and was told it will be 45.99 a day for the week I am going. Guess I will suffer in lines. :scared1:

That is LIMITED express line access. You get access to each ride once. If you stay onsite, you get unlimited express line access.

Thanks for informing me about that! I did not realize that it was limited access .

hotels on site are a bit expensive for me. do you know if the ever have any deep discounts?
:surfweb:

There can be 30% off discounts with the annual pass. There are also the stay more save more discounts.

To check annual pass discounts, enter APH in the code box on the website. The stay more save more discount will come up on its own if it is available.
