IfI book now and the prices drop will they credit me back the difference? Will it be in DELTA dollars or a credit back to my credit card?

I am familar with Song, which is run by Delta, and they have given me "delta dollars" which is a travel voucher for a future flight. However, this may change depending on the individual you talk to. Call and see what happens is my advice.

But, at least, they will provide a voucher. However, I think they charge $25 for the 'trouble' of doing it, so if the difference is $50 you'll only be returned $25. Sorry for the long winded answer... good luck!

With Delta, the charge is higher - $100 rather than $25. (This is a fairly recent change - there used to be no charge if the itinerary remained the same.) And fare drops that large aren't likely unless prices are way high when you buy.

So the new rule is to be patient and wait for a fare you can live with, rather than counting on a voucher.

Thank you so much for the info. The fares are so high right now for a flight in April from Rochester of Buffalo NY to Orlando.....$400! We have never pain any highger than $239. I am thinking it is probably spring break at quite a few colleges and schools so fares will stay that high. Oh well, I guess no trip in April. I just can't seem to get it all together. Air fares are high but hotlels and cars are fair. When the airfare is down the hotels are at peak and cars are ok. YIKES. I think they do this on purpose. Thanks again for the info.

One possibility to keep your options open - book a hotel and car at the reasonable rates you've found. If airfares come down, you have your trip! If not, hotels and cars are usually cancellable with no penalty.

But I have a hunch April will indeed be a busy month at WDW this coming year.

Have you checked JetBlue? They offer service from Buffalo and Rochester, and aren't listed at sites like Expedia, Travelocity, etc.

Good Luck!
