If I book a package...

if I book a package on june 19th for room and tickets for spring 2019, I know I have until 30 days before my trip to pay if off. Can I apply gift cards to pay it off as the date approaches, and Can I apply credit from the Disney visa credit card?

Or is it better for me to book a room-only and then buy tickets separately with the gift cards/points?
