If I book a 1 night room only, is it totally refundable?

Moved our late August flights to the night before our package starts. We can book a room only for that night in the same resort, same level at a small discount. Just want to be certain we can get fully reimbursed for that night if we need to cancel (due to the virus or anything else). Not sure what the rules are for room only refunds in both cases. Anybody know?

Standard policy is room-only reservations are completely refundable if you cancel up to 5 days prior to check-in. Right now, due to the virus, they have put in place a 1-day cancellation policy, but that is only for reservations up to June 30 at this point.
