if i already have a day left on my park hopper for last year..........

i have a hopper from last year and i want to credit that on to the new 5 day hopper i will get this time i go, i know i can do that cause i know people who have, but my question is, does anyone know if you can do that at any place you can buy disney tickets, or you have to do it at the gate or the resort, to get the credit back, only because i want to save money on the tickets due to the fact the prices are going up, and i wanted to try to buy them through the hotel, or somewhere else, please help im leaving in a day and a half!!!!!

To upgrade a pass you can go to any guest services window. But it would be cheaper for you to just go ahead and use the 1 day left on the pass as it is and buy a 4 day PH. To use it as it is, you pay nothing to get into the parks. To put it on a 5 day PH, they will charge you the difference between what you paid when you purchased it, and what the price is now. ~~
