If free dining is offered, where are you staying?

Can you tell me what the "bounce back" program is?

TIA

Aimee

It was a deal offered if you were staying onsite in Dec (and maybe Nov) that you could go ahead and book for 2007 and receive free DDP. Not sure if dates in 2008 applied.

Whats sad is we were at POR in Dec but whole crew got sick and all we could think about was getting home. Now I'm sitting around waiting on free dining so I can see if we can afford another trip. Life can be cruel sometimes!

BTW, I read on these Boards that the family suites, or any Disney suites couldn't get the Free Dining.

Oh, no! Please tell me this isn't true! My SIL is planning a trip with her hubby and 4 kids so they were considering the family suites. I've been telling her to hold out for possible free dining. Will she not be able to get it if she stays in the family suites?

ETA: If free dining is offered we'll probably be trying for POR. We may stay there anyway since my parents love it there. If mom and dad don't go this year, we may try another moderate since POR is the only one we've ever tried.

I'm fairly certain that the family suites have not been eligible for any discounts up to this point. She could always opt to get two rooms if free dining is released.

Thanks, I'd better pass this information along to her. This will be her first (and most likely, only) trip so she doesn't know anything and hasn't done a whole lot of research so I'm trying to send some info her way. I've been to disney many, many times but never looked into the suites. I did know that there was no AAA discount on them but it never occurred to me that free dining wouldn't be given.

Can family suiters BUY the dining plan? Or is that a no-go, too?

You can always buy the dining plan. I'm actually considering doing it, if they don't offer free dining this year.....but if I did that, that would be less $$$ I'd be spending in the parks!

We already have free dining for Sept 29th-Oct 7th (thanks to the Bounce Back program). We're going to try AS Music, just because we've never stayed there.

I've heard it mentioned a few times and just wondered if someone would mind explaining it to me??

Thanks!

Just took the time to read through the thread, sorry about the duplicate question!! Question answered!

What's the bounce-back program?
In late November (I think) through December resort guests were eligible to rebook a vacation for August and September with free dining. It had to be booked while they were staying at WDW and I don't think it was widely publicized. I read somewhere that it was a test program, or pilot program. I'm not sure how well it went though.
