IF they offer free dining next year, I have a feeling it will only be the basic plan, good at any resort.

Pretty much the way it is now. Free dining doesn't include the premium plan or the fully loaded plan.(sorry can't think of the name right now.)

watch out!! This thread may get you into trouble. Your question may come off as the following:

That people who stay at the value resorts are only entitled to the basic dining plan as ones who stay at the mods or deluxed are entitled to the deluxe plan. I can't see this happening because disney doesn't discriminate according to where a person stays- they make the free dining plan available to everyone regardless of where you stay. If this was to happen then just imagine some lowlifes (or what people think of the value people) may strike it rich and stay at a mod or deluxe resort- parish the thought. Every time I have enjoyed the free dining promo I have stayed at AS Sports and would do the same next year.

so the romored FPs which deluxes would get more than mods which get more than values wont go down well with you then.Were paying 7 nights ddp at SSR and 5 nights free at pop so dont understand your point.Me stay anywere to get free ddp.In my eyes each person the same we all pay our $$$

Oh and dont forget the people who got free upgrades from values to deluxes during free ddp there was a lot of people mifed by this, not me we turned down to stay ay pop as pop means a lot to MIL

Well, there is merit in the OP's suggestion: In 2006 and 2007, many folks have noted that guests are better off PAYING for the Dining Plan and using a more generous percent-off discount for their room, rather than paying rack rate for the room and getting the Dining Plan for free.
