If Finish CP Breakfast before park opens what happens?

We are planning a CP breakfast at 8:00 Am and park opens at 9:00...where do they send you when you are done...we were kinda wanting to be near Space Mountain...will they guide you to near a rope drop?

The center hub is open so you can head for the rope at tomorrowland. Your breakfast will take most if not all of your time, though. Don't expect to have much time to linger.

Can you wander and take photos along the way to the meal? If the hub is open, does that mean guests are there already? I'm trying to determine how to get nearly empty park photos, and get in line for E ticket type rides on park opening.

Maggie, you're welcome and congrats on getting that early ressie!

Robindiane, yes you can wander to your ressie, but they will only let you through the front gate a few minutes before you're due at the restaurant, so not a lot of time here either. I think they work pretty hard to make sure that they don't have many wanderers. When I have been lucky enough to have a pre-opening ressie, I've always been more concerned about hurrying to breakfast so that we'll be done for rope drop, but I tend to be, just a little, commando

DH and I went to ride the nemo subs at DLR once and we had a deal: run as fast as you can; don't stop; if one of us falls, the other keep going and by the time the injured party got patched up, the one in line for nemo subs should be near the front so go there after getting bandaged. Not that we are crazy but, well, you know . . .

We go to CP for 8:05 breakfast and only once did we make it out 10 minutes prior to rope drop. We all huddled infront of the entrance to Adventureland and waited until the CM unclipped the rope and we were off!

You can walk around Main Street or head to the other "Lands" but they are all roped off and they will not let you in until 9am.

i guess i'll jump on this one! if mk opens at 9, is an 8 am ressie the best to have to time CP breakfast? i am assuming getting a bus from the BC would be possible for this too. thanks!!!

We typically eat at CP at 8:05 so we can make rope drop. We don't have kids and eat here several times during each trip so if we are done eating and haven't seen all the characters, we leave anyway, knowing that we'll catch up with the others at another meal. (Although I do get cranky when I haven't seen Pooh yet since he's my favorite, but that's only been once, its usually Eeyore or Tigger that we miss). We then dash over to the Fanstasy Land rope closest to the Pooh ride. I love being in the first car of the day - then DH gets to pick what he wants to ride next.

Sorry for stealing your thread. We have ADR's for breakfast at CRT at 8:25. The park doesn't open until 9, and I'd like to get some pictures before our ADR. I saw someone had said they only let you in a few minutes before your ADR. Anyone know more specifically how long before? I had planned on getting there pretty early to take picture's, but I'd hate to get everyone up and moving just to be waiting outside the gates. I thought I had read somewhere that it was recommended that you show up a half hour before your scheduled ADR. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
