If cash ressies are available at BCV, then . . .

what are my chances of getting a studio November 10-15? I had ressies for November 17-22 but then realized that was during deer hunting season in Missouri. My DH doesn't hunt but our DS & nephew do. Since they both work on our family farm operation, my DH needs to be home that week. So I am on a waitlist for the prior week. Since they have studios available for cash ressies, I was thinking my chances of getting one would be pretty good as the developer releases more units. What do you DVC experts think? Thanks!

I am far from a DVC expert, but this is what I THINK happens:
I believe DVD declares units into the condominium on a as needed basis, thus making the availability for a point stay the same regardless of how sold BCV is. As units are declared, cash stay availability will decrease, but again point stay availability will remain relatively constant. (units declared are proportional to units sold). In other words, I don't think the theory of more availability in an unsold resort holds water (for points).
I am not certain of this, but that is the direction my reading points me.

I have tried to call to get cash ressie several times for the weekend nights of our October stay and they have been sold out. CRO told me that the CM's are even trying to get cash ressies there and have not been able to.
