If a ticket has never been used, is it transferrable? Let me explain. Our last big trip to WDW was in 2009. My grandfather lived in FL and we wanted to spend some time with him and so we paid for a room and had to buy a ticket to get the dining for free plan for him for two days. We ended up not going to the park on the days he was with us because it was hot and we were all tired. We hung out at the pool instead. Grandpapa passed away this past Feb. and I am wondering if that ticket would be valid for one of us to use. I'm not trying to scam the system and won't use it if I can't. I am just wondering since it is not used all if it is treated differently.

Yes, if it has never been used, it can be used by anyone. Once it is used once, it can only be used again by the person who used it.
