If a restaurant is on DDP - then do they accept Disney Gift Cards as payment ?

We pay OOP, but have lots of Disney Gift Cards to spend on meals.

I know all WDW places accept Disney Gift Cards as payment for meals, but what about restaurants which are not owned by WDW on the DDP ?

Thank you !

T-Rex no.

But Gift Cards are as good as cash. I was a server at a signature restaurant, and we took them everyday.

If the restaurant won't accept Disney gift cards but does accept Disney room charges, and you are at a WDW resort, charge the meal to the room and pay it off with the gift card.

Actually, ESPN, Flying Fish and Kouzzina are owned and operated by Disney.

I was going to ask that exact question. We have a Disney gift card as part of our package and I was planning on using it to pay for drinks and appetizers at some of these places.

Thanks for the tip TDC Nala I had not thought of that as an option.
