If a family member marries you...

What do they put on the wedding license? My stepdad got ordained...I'm not sure though where. It was one of the recommendations in the Passporters book. So on the license, what does he put in the spot that says 'title.' He isn't sure and I would hate to screw that part up! 31 days to go and I am so nervous about all the little details now. I haven't even hired a dress steamer. Oops.

My brother-in-law got ordained online through the Universal Life Church to perform our wedding. I checked our license and he wrote, "Minister, Universal Life Church" where it says title. He also signed it as "Reverend" and his name. We affectionately refer to him as the Rev.

We were very happy that we had a family member officiate our wedding instead of a stranger we met 10 minutes before the ceremony.
