I've been reading the Salon Mickey rules, which state -

"Members of the Shareholders Club may be accompanied by a person of their choice (hereafter the «Guests») under the conditions defined hereafter:

(i) four (4) Guests maximum per Visit in so far as the Guests can prove they are the spouse or concubine, ascendant or descendant;"

Love the wording!!! :teeth:

So obviously I have to provide identification for myself and DH, in which case, will a photo driving licence be okay?

But my stupid question is, do I also have to bring identification for the children?

We were never asked for identification apart from showing shareholders card at door :)

Same for me, never been asked for ID just had to show Shareholders Card.

Interesting! I was asked for identification when I use my Shareholders card for the ticket discount at the gate - so I assumed they always asked for it.

Anyway, DH and I always have our driving licences with us, and I hope the Salon Mickey CM will just accept that the 6 and 3 year old are ours!!! ;)

I wasn't asked either and DD didn't even have a ticket as she was under 3.

How rigid are they about the numbers of guests we are travelling in a group of 6 and wondered if they would let us sneak in a few extra guests?

I assume we'll just have to visit twice if not ! What a shame having to eat cookies twice !!!

I've never seen any larger parties than allowed, but just means you have to visit twice :goodvibes Although I recall they now limit the number of visits you can undertake in a month but suspect that you would be okay on this front.

We went three times on our last trip and were never asked for ID but then again our passes had our name and photo on.

Angela, they do seem to be very strict about numbers, they were refusing people admission when we went because they were trying to bring in too many guests. You can visit up to 5 times in a month so you'll just have to do it in two trips.....what an ordeal!!! ;) :rotfl:

Somewhere I read that food stuffing in your bag and taking soda bottles into the park is forbidden and the staff looks that these rules are kept.
A friend of mine who had not quit finisht drinking his Coke was asked to finish his drink in the salon.

On more than one occasion we have noticed people taking bottles from the fridge and putting them in their bags :sad2: and one gentleman :confused3 scoffed five large cookies one after the other ~ yes, five, my DDs counted!

I hate it when a perk is abused, my worry is that if it is abused too much then the priviliges of Salon Mickey might be withdrawn.

I'm not fond of greedy people either :confused3

WE did take a half finished bottle of water DD (3) had into the park without any issue. I think as long as you are reasonable they will be too!

Totally agree :thumbsup2

We went at the end of August (me, DH & DD) and only had to show my Shareholders card to gain entry. The cast member then took our park tickets to them validated so we could go straight into the park.

We also went last year with my parents (party of 4 plus a baby) and didn't have any problems.

I think they are pretty strict on the party size because there is limited space in the Salon. We have always been asked to leave our buggy in the lobby area.

I agree about drinks. On our last visit there were 3 people in there who didn't really look like tourists - dressed more like on business - and they each took bottles out of the fridge and took them with them.
