Hey all! Next summer my husband and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary with a short 3-night trip to WDW. We’ve been 7 times before and have dvc, so no urgency to do “all the things”, this is more a laid back adults only trip.

We’ve never come without kids, so I’m not super well versed on some of the cool adult focused adventures might be. Definitely a slower day at Epcot enjoying all the countries that our kids typically rush us out of, lol. I’m also thinking maybe a dinner at Victoria and Alberts? But I’m open to other options also. Any other ideas to make the trip fun? Thanks!

Congratulations! We're going in September for our 25th anniversary, too! I'm going to follow along to see what people recommend.

We celebrated our 25th at WDW, and many others. The main thing I remember that we did to celebrate was go to a pick-a-pearl spot and get a pearl ring. I chose the setting, DH chose the oyster. When we got the ring, DH took it, then presented it to me. I wear it where you'd normally wear an engagement ring since I chose not to receive one 25 years before. We had a wonderful dinner at Artist Point, which was pre-characters. We ordered a special cake for that night, and DH surprised me with a wand he'd ordered from Disney.

Have you considered a vip tour? For our 40th, we did a fireworks cruise, followed by a nice dinner at one of the nicer restaurant (not V&A)

How about a fireworks cruise? A behind the scenes tour? Maybe a Halloween party, if it falls during your stay?

If you're a drinker, I can recommend both the La Cava Experience and Sangria University. La Cava is a tequila tasting class in the Mexico pavilion, and Sangria University is a sangria class at Three Bridges, Coronado Springs Resort.

I also like Jaleo or Jiko for special occasion meals. Maybe even pair Jiko with the Starlight Safari at AKL.

Ooooh, tequila tasting sounds amazing!

My wife and I have been to WDW for our Honeymoon, our 10th anniversary and our 15th. For our honeymoon we actually did dinner off-site at Charley's Steakhouse, now there is one just off property on 192. For our 10th we did Chefs de France, which was great for us. For our 15th last year, we did an evening at DS with dinner at Morimoto, my wife loves going to celebrity chef restaurants.

If you are unable to book V&A or desire a slightly less expensive option with a prix fixe, multi-course French tasting menu, consider Monsieur Paul in the French Pavilion at Epcot.

I’ll look into it, thanks!

Definitely pick a super nice meal! A tour is a great idea, too. I like the Wild African Trek. I'd suggest searching the Disney website under Events and Tours. Maybe the Starlight Safari is your thing. Or the Enchanting Extras section. It's targeted to families - but I really want to do the Archery Experience at some point. Or maybe the Hoop Dee Do Review. Basically - pick something you haven't do before! Honestly, one of my favorite couple moments at Disney was the day we got up, had breakfast in the room, couldn't decide what to do, and literally, fell back to sleep until noon. It was our time and we decided to do nothing.

This is a great list of suggestions, thanks!

Great question! I've been going to WDW since I was a kid. We've spent our anniversary here for many years. I had hoped to have a very small private party out at the water in front of Rose & Crown for our 25th anniversary and invite the few friends we have...then COVID happened. We spent our 25th anniversary in a stripped down version of WDW wearing masks. 😷 It's now time to plan our 30th anniversary and I'm excited to hear all the most obscure ideas people have. We've done just about everything imaginable so we're looking for new ideas. It's probably going to be a no-parks vacation for us, so the highlight of our trip will be going to Capa at the Four Seasons (if we can get reservations). I think we'll get out a little cheaper than Victoria and Alberts. 🤞

Have fun at V&A. Maybe we'll make it for our 50th.
