I need ideas for my daughters sweet sixteen birthday party and party favors. Her birthday is in February. Any ideas would be greatley appreciated.:cake:

The girls in my daughter's class had one big party, which was great, and we were able to split the cost. We had koozies printed up with the date and the girls' names for party favors. Each girl also received a silver charm with her initials and the date. Other party favors have included insulated tumblers and frisbees.

You could always go with Cinderella/princess, Hawaiian or 80's theme.

Going to a local roller skating or ice skating rink. If they have a room you can rent out, maybe do that too.
A themed movie night. Pick a certain type of movie and watch a bunch. Have the girls dress up like a character or from the time period. My friends and I did a Harry Potter party last year for Halloween. We all dressed up like a different character and ate pizza, drank orange soda (pumpkin juice), and had candy corn and other stuff. We watched our two favorite HP movies. It was a lot of fun.
Laser Quest.

Funny thing is, I'm trying to come up with my 18th birthday party right now. I'm probally going to go to the local ice rink or do a photo/video scavenger hunt since all my friend's can drive. But I'm not sure if that would work for your daughter unless you and a few parents (depending on how many girls and how many teams) would be willing to drive them around. Half the fun of the scavenger hunt is going to be getting lost I think hahah =)

For dd's Sweet 16 4 years ago we had the Cinderella theme. I found small white coaches online and had her name printed on them in white and silver ribbon for the favors. for the tiered caked i found clear slippers about 4 inches long and placed them all around the cake. her dress looked like Cinderellas too! it was a beautiful day!

I just got an invitation to my friend's daughter's sweet 16. It's a masquerade ball!

When is Mardi Gras- is it February? That would be fun and not too hard to find decorations for it.:goodvibes

My daughter's 16th was last February. We celebrated by bringing 4 of her friends to free dining this August. Great trip with great kids. I was a little nervous because it was a long trip, and some of the kids had not been away on real vacations before. Could not have gone better. (by the way all the guests were first timers, which I think helped a lot)

Oh and the invites were Mickey Ears with their names on them, and resort soaps/lotions/shampoos, and other Disney stuff
