Ideas on how to include doggy at the ceremony/wedding :)

We LOOOOOVE our little furball with all our hearts - so I was trying to think of how to include him. I was thinking of maybe attaching a small pictures of him to my bouquet, so it'd be our little secret. Any ideas? I was trying to find if there's a way to have something custom made in his image but I couldn't find anything.. like a brooch, etc. Anyone do something like this or am I a crazy fur-mommy??

i love this idea! i wish i could bring my dog down to florida with me so he could be my ring bearer but unfortunately 23 hours in the car would not go over well with him... he gets upset just getting in the car to go to the groomer or vet I would say you could get a picture frame pin or charm and put it on your bouquet with his pic. or you can get a brooch and put it on your garter. let's see what else... i will continue to think about it

Ah I love it! I wish I could bring my two yorkies down with me, but the hotel won't allow them LOL. I like the idea of putting something in the bouquet...I was thinking of doing something cute with either their collars (they have these cute matching rhinestone ones) or their tags (which could be kinda eh) but I'm not sure yet. Plus, they may need these things when we are down in FL.

We were also thinking of having our pictures taken with them and putting that up somewhere (which is hard since they never sit still).

Ugh, I dunno but I want to do something also. Hopefully someone else will have some more suggestions too!

I did something similar with pictures of my grandparents who had passed away. I bought the frames from Oriental Trading.

I know there was a past bride who did something like this. I think she had the dog put on her cake... I'm thinking it was a schnauzer or something. I wish I could remember who it was so you could refer to their TR... maybe someone else will remember. Was it Stephanie?

I actually am in the process of doing something for my nephews
wedding to incorporate their dogs..
We have decided that we are going to have different pictures of the dogs with the table number..
So every table will have a pic and number =-)

I'm going to buy a plain anklet and have bought some charms to put on it and I'm going to put photos of family members, our furbaby etc... in them

I take it Disney won't allow dogs in the wedding pavillion??! I see you say they can't stay in the hotel, but what if you have someone take the dog to a hotel off property that allow pets after the ceremony? I doubt they will allow dogs on Disney property period, right??

i think dogs are allowed at Fort Wilderness but only in a special area! i HIGHLY doubt they are allowed in the wedding pavilion!

You can kennel your dogs at disney and visit them while you're there, but they can't go to the hotel. I don't know about the WP.
