My DH will be doing the Florida Half Ironman on May 23 at WDW.
This happens to be the anniversary of the day my brother died of colon cancer.
One of the reasons my DH got into triathlons was because of my brother. His first race was a race named in honor of a triathlete in our area who died of cancer. DH thought it was a great way to tackle a challenge, stay healthy and honor someone's memory.
Any ideas on how he can "dedicate" his race or run it in honor of someone? I thought maybe he could wear an armband or something on his shirt but anything extra like that basically rubs his skin raw due to the length of the race.
I'd love to hear any suggestions.
Thanks in advance.
