Our whole family will be at BCV for thanksgiving. Any ideas on where to go? what to do for Thanksgiving dinner. looking for advice from anyone who has had the experience. Also is Thanksgiving day a good day to hit the parks or best to just stay away?

We already have decided to make it a park day but to definitely skip MK since the consensus seems to be that MK is mobbed on that day. We'll be at MGM for the morning and I've made a reservation at 50's Prime Time (had to guarantee with a credit card so I consider it a ressie and not a ps) for that afternoon (late lunch/early dinner). I was told the traditional T-day meal is about $16 per person but you can order off the regular menu if you like. I am currently debating if we will return to MGM for the evening (or stay in the park after our meal) or spend the evening at Disney Quest.

Anyone who has been at Disney on that day care to share their experience with us? Thanks!!!!!

ln 2000, we had thanksgiving dinner at a buffet at the Swan. Thanksgiving dinner with the MOUSE!!! It was absolutely wonderful -- all the traditional favorites and many more. I'm sorry I don't remember the cost. We ended up having to eat really early because it was pretty booked--I think we got a 1:15 reservation when we called a week or so before. There were also character appearances at the meal. I think it was held in a huge ballroom type setting, possibly on the second floor. It was quite a treat.
