I am looking for ideas for items to put in basket or gift bags for two 16 yos, a 12 yo and 9 yo for our upcoming trip. I have found great things for ds 3 but the older kids I am having a terrible time with. My oldest is actually 15 now and will be turning 16 on the trip. The other 16 yo is her friend/cousin who has been to disney once as a small child.

Here are some ideas to get you started - also,I think there is a great sale at the Disney Store, that is a great place to stock up!:

* disney beach towel (check out sale at TDS)
* flip flops
* jibbitz if they have crocs
* disposable camera
* sunglasses
* goggles for pool
* suntan lotion/lip balm
* spray fan bottles
* character ball caps/visors
* character t-shirt

I don't know how much you want to spend but there are some cute things at the Disney site that I know my daughters (17 and 15) would like - here are a few:

tank top
purse
journal

I have also seen girly Disney-themed stuff at Claire's - lip gloss, wallets, key chains.

And I can usually find Disney themed shirts/accessories at Walmart and Sears.

thanks for all the ideas. I did get a few things from the 25% off disney shopping. I will stop at Claires tomorrow. Unfortunately we don't have a disney store near by.

Disney Dollars or Disney Gift cards are also a good idea. You don't need to get them from a Disney store either, you can call WDW merchandising and they will send them to you.

The semi-annual sale at Bath & Body Works is now on:goodvibes 75% off most lotions and shower gels--my 18y/o DD goes crazy for them and there are $2 lip glosses available as well. Be SURE and tell your resort check-in CM that a birthday is being celebrated. She will get a pin to wear all trip, and believe me, there will be unexpected surprises along the way:wizard: DH and I celebrated our 25th a couple of weeks ago there, and free desserts, congratulations, and serenades came our way all trip. Have a wonderful time!

I need ideas for a 13 yo boy also. I have no clue. My nephew is going and I am having a hard time with little gifts for him. My DD6 and DS2 are easy but struggling with nephew.:confused3

How about quarters for the arcade. DS -10 loves drawing supplies.

Are the 12 and 9 yr olds boys or girls?

I know my kids are a lot younger, but my daughter is in love with High School Musical and Hannah Montana..

Maybe you could get them some kind of waist pack to wear in the park, hats or visors to keep cooler, sunglasses ( in my house we lose a lot of sunglasses ) maybe get one of those refillable mugs for the park for each of them. mints or tic tacs for their purse or bag in the park, the autograph books and trading pins could be cool. You could get them mickey ears and have those ready..

disposable cameras so they can take some pictures on their own. ( we gave my daughter one last year at the beach.. some of our coolest pictures were pcitures she took.. close ups of her toes covered in sand, pictures of my sons hand print in the sand, a close up of a seashell she found.. she was only six. We actually got reprints in black and white and i have them in a horizontal rectangular frame. )

does your daughter have a cell phone? they have little charms for some of the models, i know my cousin has a little tinkerbell on a charm hanging from hers.

I also agree with a lot of the other posters, flip flops, beach towels, disney dollars.. all good choices.

good luck!
