Ideas for teen girls for Pirate Night

We will have three teen girls on our cruise, my two daughters and their cousin. Ages 14-17. They were much younger the last time they cruised. Does anyone have ideas for them for Pirate night that are not “all out costumes” but still somewhat participating?

Check out Etsy! There's some super cute stuff that you could use to put together an outfit. My 17-year-old daughter found a cute pirate skirt. She paired that with an oversized bandana that she used as a head scarf, and then I got simple black t-shirts made for the whole family that had a silhouette of a pirate Mickey for the guys and a pirate Minnie for the girls.

We bought girlie Disney pirate shirts and put them with sparkly skirts. Captain Jack made a joke about how they must be part of Captain Taylor Swift’s ship, the Eras vessel.

Look up Renaissance costumes on Amazon and see if they find any that they like. Corsets, blouses, skirts, pirate-esque dresses often have a lot in common with Renaissance outfits.

Etsy has a ton of Pirate, especially DCL themed shirts.

At their age they probably use the internet. Every teen knows their likes and dislikes and rebel against being forced to wear certain things.
So why not let them find what they want.
I bet they can do it better than us.

My girls typically pair a white corset or oversized blouse with a black skirt, boots, and tie the bandana on their wrist/arm
