I know this is early, but I like to to a bit here and there, so thought I'd get some ideas. And, I thought this would be a great board to ask for ideas!
We're heading to Orlando next year the week before easter. (I know, crazy, but with DS1 in middle school, didn't really want to take him out of school.) We're staying off site with grandparents, and frankly at this point may or may not get into the parks, though I'm hoping to.
Anyway, thought it would be a good idea to combine x-mas goodies with stuff for the trip.
We're driving down from MN to Orlando.
Wanted to know what fun Disney/Orlando/Sunshine/driving down to Orlando from MN ideas you had for stocking stuffers. Ages 12, 10, 5.

One I thought of was earphones for each of the kids in the car.
Another one was fans/bottle fans for each of them.
Maybe a couple disney pins.

What else?
Thanks!

I'm trying to get ideas too, we are going in March, and we are surprising the kids with this trip on Christmas. I know you said you were not sure if you were going to Disney but I'm giving my kids disney dollars, autograph books and pens, and a Disney t-shirt. OOhhhh I can't wait til Christmas!!! Just to see my kids faces!

OK my 12 and 8 year old really loved listening to their own music. An inexpensive one that they loved and used for hours- was a real sketch pad from the art store with art pencils. They felt "grown up" with the real stuff. And they drew for hours. I included some books(you could find disney ones) For my little guy(1) I got him some of those Disney store sets of little people- I got a Jojo set and a nemo set. I was also able to buy those spinning things they sell in the park- for only $3 at the Disney store on sale. So the 2 youngest got those. I even found a disney digit camera at Sears(for $20 so it isn't great but my dd loved hers) you could get just disposable cameras if you can't find the cheapo digitals. The old reliable glow sticks. I included mini flashlights with Disney Characters . A good place to find the little stuff is The Dollar Store and I even got lucky with a sale at the Disney store(in those little bins)If you think your kids will be into pin trading you could start them out with a lanyard and a few pins. Now my dd was really into the mini art kits that they sell at craft stores. My son liked the magnetic license plate game. Stickers are always good. Boy I could go on and on with this one we drive down every year from NJ with 4 kids.
Duh I just saw you may not go into the parks- For the beach I packed some new sand toys(even for my 12 year old he wanted to play too!) Hats or visors for the sun, I did pack some new video games and we had a DVD player so a few movies,

Thanks, keep the ideas coming!
I'm hoping we make it to the parks, if we don't we will still "do" Disney, character meal(s) and DtD. I *think* we'll at least make it to MK with DD, but we'll just have to see. We're in the middle of a refi on the house now, so money is challenging.
