We just canceled our trip to WDW that was starting this weekend in our coveted three bedroom grand villa at Jambo House. I am fully supportive of following the CDC guidelines and am trying to find some way to positively channel energy. A psychologist said that people are hoarding toilet paper and other supplies at least in part because it gives them something to do. So, I thought I would start an ideas thread for what we can do while staying at home.

How about an old fashioned board game night?
Write letters, draw or color pictures and send them to locked down nursing homes
Disney+ launched Frozen 2 early
Home school activities...there are quite a few ideas on the Internet..who found good ones?

With the writing letters, coloring pictures, writing cards to your nursing homes, you might check with the nursing home first. Some are not accepting due to the unknown nature of virus transmission and porosity of paper.

Writing! While you can't exactly just publish something you've written you can post it online or on writing sites. Even stuff that is small like those three sentence horror stories has a big following online and seeing you gain likes might cheer you up. If you like writing about established characters you can post it up on Archive of Our Own.
Video games are awesome and a good way to spend time with the family. There's also lots of digital board games so you can play things like Trivial pursuit without having to mess with the tiny plastic cake slices.
Baking! I made a disney copycat recipe this week, the pineapple coconut bread from Ohana. For a first ever attempt at bread it didn't turn out so bad but I bet I can improve it!

At home we're doing a puzzle. We have many Disney ones we bought over the years, but haven't had time to do. And we did bake in our Mickey ramekins for the first time!

My friends and I are also experimenting playing games over Google Hangouts. We successfully played a makeshift version of Code Names last night using Google Handouts and Google Sheets (for the game boards).
