I read the thread of ideas to get your family excited about the trip (child was only young though so that thread didn't really help me). I need some help too. My son is 11 and this will be his first time to the USA (we're Canadian), first time on a plane and first time anywhere disney (besides the disney store five hours away)

He loves Disney. I'm looking at creating a basket or something for when he gets there as a surprise. I want it to be from Mickey or Goofy. Any suggestions? Pop Century is supposed to be great but do they sell baskets??

Any idea would be greatly appreciated!

One of the things that is great for our son (10) leading up the WDW is letting him earn his own spending money (disney dollars). Its awesome to get him to do things like, when I have to drag both my kids to the mall, I say, "you get a dollar for everytstore that we go into and you dont fight."
