Ideas for meals in room?

I thought of this, too. Easy, and will feed everyone!

Or you can just do breakfast for dinner. Someone scramble up the eggs, someone man the toaster, and someone use the microwave to crisp up the pre-cooked bacon!
I LOVE brinner! That's what we call breakfast for dinner at my house. Great idea!!

Thanks to everyone who took the time to give me some great ideas!! You guys are awesome!! :disrocks:

Check the DVC boards for good ideas :) We are DVCers but usually only cook breakfast and use the big fridge for leftovers and snacks!

You can use Garden Grocer, Dizzy Dolphin, Instacart (will deliver from Whole Foods or Publix), or even Amazon Now if you are a Amazon Prime member. Each DVC resort has a grocery section in their store with basic items.

I'd keep it simple, maybe get a rotisserie chicken and bagged salad or veggie tray? Then you won't feel guilt really indulging in the dessert party! Whatever you do, enjoy

I always keep it simple for cooking on vacation. BLTs, goulash (my grams version was only 5 ingredients), tacos/taco salad, chicken patties/burgers with chips, hot dogs, sausage with peppers & onions. We try to stick with things that have five ingredients or less. I would probably order pizza at least one night just for the convenience factor, too.

I just realized how lazy we are.

We stick to frozen corn dogs, chicken strips, pizza and cereal, soup, salad, sandwiches and spaghetti. Foods that we basically just need to heat up and don't require any real prepping or cooking. After a long day at the park, we are all too tired to do more than throw something in the oven or microwave. We've also done the grocery store rotisserie, then just paired that with some canned veggies or a baked potato, super easy, and any meat that is left over can be eaten cold on sandwiches. The most ambitious we've ever gotten is a poppyseed chicken casserole. Sort of a staple in the south, and it doesn't really require any seasoning as you can leave the poppy seeds off the top. You use ritz crackers which provide the salt.

I know this is odd, but for eggs I bring a small nice frying pan. I know, I know, but it just makes life easier

Buy the loaded salt and pepper, you know, the cheap plastic ones? As pp said, measure out any actual spices and bring with

Figure out how many meals you think you want, then subtract 2 :-p
