Ideas for items to sign

This is what we did, as you can see it did bleed a little, I think we should have taken fabric markers instead of regular sharpies. Next time ;)

I think those rumors got started because some people were declined on shorter cruises (which makes sense). I haven't heard anything about people being told no on longer trips.

So sad, was on the 3 nights Ensenada Wonder cruise last month and got declined. Have to line up on each character to have my signed.

We did the pillowcase the last couple cruises. We just used regular colored sharpies, they did not bleed through. One suggestion is do not use a yellow one it doesn't show up that well.

DS is a bit of a drooler, so I decided not to do a pillowcase. Instead I got a Tshirt from Zazzle with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy on it. I will ask for that to be signed instead.

I have a toddler and I had them sign her plastic baby wipe case (the thin portable one). I took out the wipes before turning it in and supplied colored Sharpies. It turned out so cute and is a great reminder of our fun cruise every time I reach for the wipes!

You could bring an empty portable one like me or an empty baby wipe container. It would be a great addition to any nursery.

I Took a pink hat I bought at hobby lobby and had princess only signatures

I think it's so wonderful that you can leave an item with front desk for characters to sign! We don't have children of our own, but last year we bought a DCL colouring book at the gift shop and had the characters sign inside for my niece on my husbands side.
Now my brother's wife has just announced she is pregnant! First baby on this side of the family! They are Disney fans but have never been to WDW or anything. I was thinking about getting something signed for the baby, maybe something they can put in the nursery afterward. The thing is by the time of my cruise we won't know the gender of the baby, and probably won't know what theme the nursery will have... So the item should be something that would fit almost anything. I'm stumped! Any suggestions? Have you ever had anything signed for a newborn or memento like that? (If it helps, my brothers favourite character is one we undoubtedly won't get to meet, Louie Ducktale lol)
Does anyone know if they will sign on a 5 night cruise?

We have done the pillowcase thing before but this last cruise I brought along 2 small dessert plates that I purchased from WDW and dropped off for signatures. I LOVE how they came out. I saw another Diser on here post the same plate in dinner size but when I saw that in the store it was HEAVY so I opted for the dessert size. I requested just the Fab Five sign.

You can find a set of 12 at www.disneyshopping.com but I bought 2 at Downtown Disney. They also have different colors at disney shopping site.

I just bought this at Downtown Disney 3 days ago. It's 10.60$ tax included at the Disney Emporium right next to Circ de Solei and they wrapped the nothing out of it so I would feel comfortable checking it in my luggage for a flight.

I have heard 5 nights or longer they usually will, but check with guest services when you arrive to be sure. I think it depends on how full/busy they are.

Thanks for the wooden letter suggestion! DGrD11 and DNiece 14 LOVED that idea - I found letters at ACMoore and got fine point (since the letters aren't all that big) sharpies in their fav colors. They are excited to bag them up and go get boxes of our local Salt Water Taffys to put in for the CMs. These will make great souvenirs for their rooms when we return.
