I scored a lunch reservation for CRT which my daughter is dying to do! Only problem is that it is only for 2 so at this point my husband and 4 year old son can't join us. I'm going to keep checking until our November trip, but if I can't find one for all of us, any ideas for something special they could do together while we do CRT? I thought of the pirate experience, but at this point, they are booked that day.

Barber shop? Water mice? Jedi training at DHS?
Just being able to pick the rides they go on without having to involve his sister might be enough. Most kids love one on one parent time.

For our almost-four-year-old son, almost anything could count as a big treat. I don't think you need something specific.

If we asked our son, "Do you want to have a fancy lunch with some princesses and our whole family, or do you want to go ride Buzz Lightyear an extra time with only Dad, and then have a milkshake and cheeseburger for lunch at the rocket ship restaurant with Dad, as a big treat?," he would be very enthusiastic in picking the latter option.

Are there any rides that your son might like a lot more than your daughter? Or if the weather is good, Casey's soak station might be a fun option - your son might want to spend more time in the splash area than your daughter would.

Splitting up a few times during the trip might be good for both kids.
