My girlfriend and I are travelling to the world Dec 6-14, and I am thinking seriously about proposing to her while we're there. :love2: DW has special meaning for both of us and I think it would be the perfect place in which to do this.

Can anybody help me with ideas on fun or romantic ways to propose at Disney? I'm sure some of you out there got engaged at Disney and have some interesting stories to share. Thanks!!

how about eating lunch or dinner at CRT and getting the slipper dessert and putting the ring in it

OOOOHHH! How sweet! I have a friend who reserved the rose garden by the old Swan boat dock to propose in about 5 yrs ago. He had a table and food set up also. I don't know how he did it, I don't think he had any connections. Maybe you can call Guest servies and see what they can offer.
Good luck!

My DGF is insane about fireworks!... so the number one place for me would be during wishes... or right after it...

Stealing this from a friend of mine, but he probably won't mind ;)

Go to Cinderella's castle and say you want a picture of the two of you in front of it, find someone and ask them to take your picture (you might want to tell them your plan) and then just as they're gonna take the picture get on one knee

Your gf is so lucky! Good luck! :wizard:

When we we were in Disney last time a couple ask us to get a picture of them on a pretty little sitting area just to the right of the castle (if you are facing the castle from the front). I think it had a little wishing well there too. They had got engaged the night before at this spot and wanted pictures during the day so they could remember it. With the castle in the background, I thought it was so romantic!!

That is so sweet! How about on a boat while watching Wishes? Or how cool would it be to get her favorite character to give her the ring? Of course I don't know how you would go about doing that but I'm sure it is possible.

A fun way would be on splash mountain on the way up right before the drop. They will snap a picuture on the way down but be sure to hang on to the ring. :rotfl:

Oh yeah, now that's romantic :p

It has to be done in front of the castle. I think before Wishes. Wishes is emotionally moving, and with the ring on her finger, the whole experience will be incredible. Or maybe, when they shoot the fireworks off and they say "Wishes. . . Wishes. . . do come true. . ." slide the ring on her finger at that exact moment. Little more tricky. I'm sure glad that I'm a girl and that I can just be swooned instead of having to plan the whole thing.

I can't decide if I want to do it during wishes, get one of the photopass photographers to snap a pic while I'm proposing in front of the castle, do it on one of the carriage rides at Wilderness Lodge... or set it up at Cinderella's Royal Table to bring it out on the glass slipper desert.

How about on the Grand One on a Bay Lake/Seven Seas Lagoon cruise during Wishes?

It would be expensive, but very private and memorable.

DH proposed to me at california grill during the fireworks-we had an amazing window seat and the waiters and people sitting around us were in on it. It was wonderful!!
