I currently have challenged my kids to a screen free week. If they make it, I want to do a family movie theme night on Friday. Food, activity/game, craft, maybe some decorations. Need some ideas for a movie. Girls are 9, 7 and 2 and will watch pretty much anything. They've watched most of the recent movies. Suggestions?

Have they seen the oldies like Lion King, Pocahontas, Aristocats, etc?

The Goonies
Anything with Minions in it
Matilda
Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory - Gene Wilder version
Charlotte's Web
Iron Giant
ET
Wizard of Oz

Some of the live action Disney movies from the 60s that maybe they haven't seen: The Love Bug, The Parent Trap, Swiss Family Robinson, etc.

I just watched How to Train Your Dragon the other night so I'll suggest that. I love that movie.

Charlotte's Web (the old cartoon version)
The Apple Dumpling Gang
Mrs. Doubtfire
Annie (again, the original)
Spy Kids

My eight year-old LOVES Night at the Museum. He has already picked it for our upcoming movie night. I don’t remember anything bad in it at all. It is just good family fun.

There are about a million great ideas for family movie nights on Pinterest. That's where I got ideas, printables, decorations, etc. for the family movie nights that I used to do. Ours were all Disney-themed but there are lots of non-Disney themes as well.

Franchises. Star Wars, Muppets, Harry Potter, Despicable Me, Toy Story, MCU, Shrek, etc.
Decade.
Movie studio (Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks).
