Hello :)

I'm looking for ideas where to have a cocktail hour with some appertizers/finger food fter our wedding
i don't want anything too formal, and it's just to stop people starving. I have hoping to have a morning (10/11AM) wedding & I thought I'd be able to have something where we have pur cake cutting near the beach venue- i have discovered this would start a mininum though & so I need it somewhere.

I've looked at il Mulino as it has the terrace, but they only open later in the day

so any ideas in that area that are open for breakfast/lunch that we can have some drinks & easy quick food for about an hour

TIA

Your best bet is probably to check with Swan Catering. I don't think any of the neighboring restaurants will be open that early.

I looked into doing something like this too and it will have to go with swan catering. They could potentially set something up for you in the swan garden place with the swan statues and fountains. my ceremony is at 11am and we chose not to do this because of the minimums and because we just decide to do a cocktail hour at fulton's where my reception is. When I was looking into it i was not sure I would be doing a reception

West courtyard is the courtyard with the swan fountains. It is a mirror image of Il Mulino's courtyard and just across from it. Joanne had her VR there, it is really pretty. It can only hold about 30ish people though, maybe 40 max with standing room only. Swan catering would have to cater it though.

Thanks ladies :)
This is the thing, Erin told me that Swan/Dolphin catering then starts up at $2500 minimum on food & becarge which I can't fford & would struggle to do it as there won't be many guests.

I'm trying to think of what else to do, we could go eat breakfast at a resort restraunt. But I just don't want people to starve before we have our photos taken. And I want a nice meal in the evening before our wishes cruise. Hmmmm, change & think around is needed I think. I'm still set on a fairly early wedding though I think :\

Try and talk to Lindsey Cullen with the swan/dolphin catering department she was willing to try and do some sort of snack reception in the west courtyard for me and did not even discuss minimums for that. She said they could do some sort of cocktail hour type thing for $50pp or even less if I wanted to go really simple. I would check into this option. I just found the email where she said this so I would inquire.
