hi all:wave:
i'm posting this for my cousin really,while we are at wdw it will be her son's 10th birthday and she has not been before and so don't have a clue where would be best to celebrate his birthday

there will be 11 of us all together and i did suggest chef mickeys and went on to show her the menu's but a couple of the kids and adults are quite picky and did not like the look of the dinner menu:rolleyes:

our party consists of 6 adults and 5 kids all boys ages 13,12,11,9 (soon to be 10) and 8
it don't have to be a character meal but she don't want to rule it out either and it can be breakfast lunch or dinner

we did look at mickeys back yard bar-be-que,whispering cannon and ohana how are these places for a birthday?i also rang the rain forest cafe at DTD and she told me that they can't guarentee (sp) that we all sit together which is no good as we will be getting him a cake and she wants us all to be near each other::yes::

i'm sorry for the long post,but i'm no expert on dining and i know you guys are:teeth: and will be able to come up with some good suggestions::yes::

thanks so much eve::MinnieMo

just bumping to keep this near the top:Pinkbounc

need some advice::yes::

thanks eve::MinnieMo

I'd try Whispering Canyon. It sounds right up a bunch of boys alley!!! We're going in Nov. Just a suggestion!

I like the restaurant at The Land in Epcot for birthdays. I don't love the food there but you'll have a blast with the characters :hyper:

thank you for taking the time to reply::yes::

margie,
i was thinking of WWC ::yes:: it looks so much fun:teeth: what sort of things would they do here for a birthday?

thanks eve::MinnieMo

I've never been but from what I've read on these boards, they might have you, your family, or maybe the entire restaurant sing to the birthday child!! They might even take him out in the lobby! I guess it just depends on the cms that you get. I think it would be fun. If you tell them when you are seated, they'll probably bring him a special dessert!! Just let the magic happen! We're going there for dinner one night on our trip. We're looking forward to it!!

We did breakfast there last year for my DS's birthday. He got this awesome chocolate desert at 9 a.m. Not a bad way to start a birthday! The whole restaurant sang to him. He loved it! We are trying dinner there for his birthday this year.

:wave: :wave:

thanks for that::yes::
we have made a ps for chef mickey for breakfast and we are thinking of booking WWC for a later dinner that day

thank you all for your input::yes::
