Could you give me any ideas for our son who is 4 turning 5!! We are trying to plan a trip for his B-day!!!
To come to WDW! Any ideas of what we can do special for him while we are there??

First when you make all you Ressies & Adr's tell them about DS birthday & get a buttom at MK. When we took DS half of the places put glitter & stuff on the table. The best was Chef Mickeys he got a cupcake & a card. And they stood him on a chair & he led the napkin wave.

Do they do things special at all the parks or just MK??

I did not know about the Birthday button when we took DS but, I hear people talk about it all the time here. I think you get it Customer Service place on Main street maybe by the Fire station.

Each Theme Park and DTD has the birthday buttons at the Guest Relations office. If you're staying on-site, be sure to tell the Front Desk you're celebrating a birthday -- the hotel may do something special as well.

I took DD for her 5th birthday in May 2005 and look forward to doing the same for my son when he turns 5 next year. We had dinner at Chef Mickeys, and she got a cupcake and special placemat from them. (We also had breakfast at CRT, but that might not be your son's cup of tea!) Her "big present" -- besides the trip itself -- was My Disney Girl's Tea Party. Again, not something I plan to do for my son; I have my eye on the Pirates cruise for him.

Le Cellier gave DD lots of attention the night before her birthday; it was a high point of the trip. I may take my son there for his birthday, too.

What could be more special than spending your 5th birthday at WDW?

But yes, get the button. No matter what age. I had fun wearing it when I turned 38...

We are going to be in WDW next week and our son will be turning during the trip. We made an ADR for breakfast at HW&V and made it a point to mention it's his birthday. He is a HUGE Little Einstein fan so hopefully he will love it. We also have a dinner ADR for Coral Reef, where we ordered a small cake and have a diver bringing down a happy birthday sign. We will also be picking him a birthday button as well.

Have fun!
