These kits were awesome the last go round.

These kits will consist of 1 topper/title and 2 elements of your choice. See list for more details. Each item will need to be embellished a minimum of 2 different ways.

There will be 5 people per group. The total groups will depend on enthusiasm.

NO hand written lettering or flat stickers on ANY items. Please use computer fonts, rub-ons, stickers or stamps.

NOTE: Embellished means using brads, eyelets, charms, ribbon/fiber, 3D stickers (matted stickers/cliparts are okay too) or embossing (dry/heat).

Ok - here are the elements to choose from (if you have another idea for an element, let me know and I will add it).

TOPPER - The size and orientation is up to you. Please do not make it over 8 inches. You may cut letters out to spell a title but make sure the letters are at least 1 1/4 inches and have a shadow matted behind each letter. If you choose to cut out a title, place letters in a separate baggie and let us know what they spell.

Element Selection:
Journaling Box: 1PP at least a 3x3 writing area, double matted and embellished with actual journal area placed on top of the two mats
Tag: 1 PP for medium or large tags, 2 pp for 2x3 tags, double matted and embellished, include either ribbon/fiber or eyelet/brad in the hole. may include both....the fiber and or eyelet does not count as part of the 2 embellishments.
Embellished Shapes: 3PP 1-1/2x1-1/2 or larger if you wish, double matted and embellished. These can be circles, squares, flowers, etc. be creative. If it is a shape that would not look right double matted please use your best judgement.....Just make up for it in another way. Maybe make a few extra or throw in something extra.
Slide Mounts: 2PP be creative here please
File Folders or Matchbooks: 1 PP if medium size or lager, 2 pp if mini sized. Please make sure to enclose a blank page in the matchbook if this is the element you choose to do.
Bottle Caps: 2PP if metal, 4PP if paper
Library Pocket and Tag: 1PP embellished, no smaller than to hold 2x3 a tag that should have ribbon/fiber or eyelet in the hole

looks good Susie, now that I'm going chronological in my albums I may have to sign up for a few groups. I like the breakdown of seasons too, not so overwhelming.

This is such a great swap, the groupings look good. Welcome back Susie hope you had a great time! We missed you around here :)

Hope you will join in again this go round.....the last one was so good.

I had a wonderful time. It has been what my house needed. The paint on the walls even seemed brighter when I got home, it it's possible.

Looking forward to the swap. I can imagine the paint looking brighter ;) A good vacation works wonders.

Love this idea! Can't wait! Y'all have me hooked on swapping now!

Can't wait for this one, Susie! I always need stuff for my "everyday" books. The last year round swap was great!

Hope you and Stone had a magical trip!

Ooh--this looks good!! Gonna have to watch for this one!! :thumbsup2

1. Is there anyway to work birthdays into this? I am always in need of birthday stuff.

2. Are photomats an acceptable element?

We could change general spring to birthday.

2 photo mats are fine.

What about adding a spot 6 to each quarter for bday? Or just adding a birthday group to each quarter? Do you think there would be interest?

I would be game to adding a birthday group to each quarter.....

I really like the school group we did last time....is anyone up to that one again.....I could use another set

- First day of school
- 100th day of school
- spring break
- winter break
- last day of school

Yes. I wasn't in that group last time. I could use several groups of school stuff! Would you add that now of in a different quarter?

I love the school group. We are getting ready to do our 100 days of school program in Kindergarten soon. I'm not sure if the 4th graders do anything, but I'll be taking photos that day no matter what.

As I am now fully awake, I have remembered my manners. Thanks Susie for being so accomodating!

I would like thoughts on:

How often would you like to do a school group....are there other topics that could be mixed in?

How often do you want to do birthday groups?

If we did one a season

it could stay general every time or

season1 - general
season 2- child
season 3 - male
season 4 - female

let me know your thoughts

I prefer just general, but it's not like I need one every season, so doing by general/child/male/female won't bother me any.

I can't think of any other school ones, but then my kids aren't active in any clubs or afterschool things.

I guess I would need all of the bday groups, but whether I signed up for them all would depend on what other swaps were going on at the time. If you offer a bday grp this season, I will definitely join, regardless of its topic.
