Ideas for a subtle castle pic?

Hi :earsboy:

I have always enjoyed looking at everyone's different perspectives on the most photographed areas and things and WDW.

I'm looking for ideas on a subtle pic of the castle to add to my wall. Nothing front on, so subtle that you may not even quite know what it is...

Here are the other pics I have on my wall. They remind me of our trips without being in your face Disney ( nothing wrong with that, just not what I'm going for)

Ok, ok, so maybe the Epcot one is a little more obvious than the others but these are the ones I've picked to hang in my home from the thousands of photos I've taken at Disney. Along with a few family pics :p

So, any ideas you wouldn't mind me stealing for me to use on my next trip? I'm not looking to use your photo in any way, just looking for ideas for my own photoshoot with the castle next time I'm there

Thanks!

Maybe something like the castle reflection in the moat. Or from a distance on the ferry/Poly beach. Angles from different lands, like Fantasyland behind Mine Train, or through trees in Liberty Square are also pretty neat and less in your face castle.

Full disclosure, not sure exactly where I took this. Also, I'm no photographer :rotfl2:

Liberty Square. I think this spot could be really nice with a better camera! The tree with the lanterns might make an interesting foreground shot

If you have the opportunity to visit California Grill (particularly in the daytime), you might be able to get some interesting shots from up there. Not sure if they're subtle enough!

Something like this from Rivers of America might suit your needs too!

Ok I'll stop now! But I hope these can give you some fresh perspectives that might be more subtle than the typical straight-on photo!

I like the rivers of America shot
Years ago, I liked walking across the bridge from tomorrow land and get a family shot from the side of the castle, but that spot is no longer there, but maybe one from the people mover ride perspective

....you could probably do something like this as a holiday pic:

Notice that the castle is positioned off-center. This way, it's not so much an in-your-face castle photo. Another idea is the blur everything around the main attraction (I'm thinking in this case, a person, a portrait or a family shot)...
