Ideas for a Romantic Night?

Greetings all!

I'm heading to WDW in July with my family (sister 23, aunt 60, cousin 25) and my fiancee (24). My cousin and I are staying at the WL, while the others are staying at the Poly Concierge.

So on Monday 7/16, we have set aside an evening for my fiancee and I to spend together. I'm looking for some romantic ideas to help make this night special.

So far the plan is to get dressed up and take her for dinner at the California Grill...they were pretty booked up so I got a 6:10pm reservation...which I'd rather have an earlier dining opportunity so we can realyl enjoy the night. I know we'd like to see some fireworks.

Please share any ideas you have to make this an extra special night. What kind of options do we have? I'd really like to surprise her with something romantic.

How about a Wishes cruise? I have never been but I have heard the specialty cruises are really nice. It sounds like you have an early enough ressie you would have time for it.

My dh and i spent our 32 wedding anniversary at California grill @ the Contempary resort. I told them it was our anniversary when I made the ps so they gave us window table. We were able to watch the fireworks at MK while we ate. They brought us out a special dessert and they had put confetti on the table. Think about it. It is romantic.

I will second the Wishes cruise! It is wonderful!

How about a carriage ride? I believe Fort Wilderness does them.

Both Port Orleans resorts offer carriage rides as well. I just booked one yesterday. They're half an hour long, cost $35 and you can bring along your own bottle of champagne or snack. I believe you can also arrange for drinks and snacks to be waiting for you.... but I'm not positive. Though I have absolutely nothing against the rustic beauty of the WL, the PO resorts might be a little more romantic.
