Ideas for a GOOD Epcot TS Restaurant for Dinner?

DW and I would need some advice as to a good TS restaurant at Epcot for dinner with our grandkids, DGS 14, DGD 11, and DGS 7. We were planning to try Marrakash, but DW is concerned that: (1) GKs won't want Moroccan food; and (2) food will be too spicy or greasy, either of which would not be good for her sensitive stomach.

I tried to get ADR at Le Cellier, but LOL, it's booked solid. Reviews I've seen have not been kind to TS restaurants in Mexico, Norway, Japan or Germany.

Meanwhile, I have limited on-line access 'cause I'm still waiting for my ISP to hookup our new house.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

We enjoy Rose and Crown a great deal and eat there often. On our last trip, we went to Chefs de France for the first time and will return without a doubt!

I've always liked Rose and Crown in the UK pavilion. I don't know how picky your grandkids are, but if they do tend to be, I know I have an extremely picky husband who loves the food there!! And there is not really anything I can think of on the menu that would upset your wife's stomach.
We have had decent meals at Les Chefs de France as well, although we have not eaten there in recent trips (again, due to picky hubby ). A lot of people don't tend to like that one it seems though, maybe we just went on really good days.

Another Epcot option would be Garden Grill. It is a character, family-styled, all you care to eat meal located in Future World. I believe it is with Farmer Mickey & Pluto with Chip and Dale. It does get VERY good reviews!!!!

There is also Coral Reef....GREAT for ambience but VERY mixed reviews on food though it sometimes seems that people just don't care for the $$$$cost of this place. If you're on the Dining Plan then I guess that's not an issue to consider. Can't tell you personally about this place because we don't enjoy seafood.

P.S. We ALSO enjoyed Rose & Crown though the only thing our DS10 could find to his liking was the Prime Rib. Oh, he has it sooo rough!!

We love Restaurant Marrakesh and can assure you that the food is neither spicy nor greasy. There's definitely food on the kids' menu to please even picky kids, and they'd probably really enjoy the belly dancer. The Morrocan mint tea (iced) is refreshing and delicious.

That being said, we enjoy the food and ambience in Mexico, the hibachi-grilled food and chefs' antics at Teppanyaki were very good, and our entrees at the Rose and Crown were very tasty when we ate there for the first time this past May.

We liked Garden Grill and Teppanyaki....i think the big problem wit both of these is they are nothing terribly special. Good character interaction at garden grill good food. But not wow cant stand to miss this place. Teppanyaki most complaints seem to be that it isnt anybetter than the local japanese place so why bother eating there. They are still both very decent family restaurants. We did not go back to Tepanyaki just because we wanted to try more new places but we definitely wouldnt be opposed to it. We like teppanyaki places and it's nice to have food you are used to sometimes...Garden grills food is the same kind of thing being food we are used to. We didnt enjoy either le Cellier or Coral Reef as a family although most seem to we just dont do fancy food well.

I would like to give Marrakesh a big thumbs up !! DD loves it- she was 7 last fall when we went, and she liked everything she tried. If you have picky GKids, the kids' menu has the usual things- chicken tenders, hamburger, and spaghetti. The food isn't spicy, greasy or "weird" at all. Yummm! DD liked the Moroccan band and belly dancer.

We like Biergarten in Germany and Teppenyaki in Japan. Haven't tried Rose & Crown or Alfredo's, but hear they are good, too.

I had veggie couscous at Marrakesh and it wasn't overly spicy or greasy.

I liked Marrakesh a lot more than I thought I would, but for the record I also love San Angel Inn, Rose and Crown, Chefs de France and Teppanyaki.

I think Epoct WS restaurants are among the best in WDW.

If you're interested in Marrakesh, by all means go! Our family ate there Christmas Eve and we had a 3 year old along who loved the food and the show. The chicken shish kabobs (adult menu) aren't really spicy...in fact, they seem to appeal to picky eaters. We find the wait staff to be especially friendly there and the good light helps when kids are dining with you. I say "go and enjoy"!

2 of the 6 TS we went to last trip are MUST DO AGAIN = Le Cellier and O'hanas. We tried Teppanyaki and loved it but considering we were on the meal plan at the time, we just couldn't see paying those prices out of pocket on subsequent trips. If price isn't an issue, go to Teppanyaki. We'd never done hibatchi and we throughly enjoyed it. The meats and vegetables are cooked with minimal seasoning so even the pickiest eaters should gobble it all down. (you get your seasonings via the dipping sauces). My DS6 went NUTS over the seaweed salad (go figure) served before the meal and my DD9 kept snatching my edamame. There is also a basic chicken broth soup and a plain garden salad served (appy for kids) before the meal so no one should leave hungry. And the ambiance is wonderful...the meal is a theme park in of itself!

This trip we are on the DDP again but we chose to repeat Le Cellier and try Coral Reef. In the future I'd also like to try the Garden Grill.

We ate at Tepanyaki twice on our last trip.
The food was good both times.
our chef the first night was great, very entertaining, kids at our table loved it.
The next time our chef was pretty dull. Looking around though he seemed to be the exception.

Another vote for Marrakesh. While it is nicely spiced, I didn't find it greasy at all. Rose and Crown is quite good as well. And Biergarten always has at least a few things that most people would enjoy.

I cannot recommend San Angel Inn, Nine Dragons or Alfredo's because we've either had pretty bad dining experiences there or (in Alfredo's case) the bad reviews have been so consistent over the years that it remains the only WDW restaurant we've never been to.

I really liked Marrakesh. I have taken several groups there and never had a complaint. The kids have entertainment and if they are "brave" they can go dance. (My last group of girls were too shy!) I have taken all ages from Grandparents to 5 year olds an all of them have found food they liked.

I liked Tepanakyi, but for the money there are just a good Japenese Steak Houses where I live so I probably won't do that one again.

San Angel was good, but if you are going thinking "Tex Mex" which is what we serve in America I would bet you will be disappointed.

Having recently eaten at Nine Gardens, I wouldn't waste my money again... the chinese at the CS resturant is much better.
