Ideas for 40th birthday party at WDW

I'm thinking of throwing my husband a 40th birthday party at WDW. We would probably have about 30-50 people there. I'm looking for ideas for venues.

My first idea is to have an Illuminations party. (Can this be more than just dessert?)

Other ideas I have had:

• the GF Summerhouse
• Ariel's
• a lunchtime party at a restaurant that is normally not open then, like Citrico's

I'm having trouble coming up with other ideas. I would love to hear any suggestions!

Celebrate your husbands bday at the California Grill. They have a private room and its a great place to view the fireworks.

Thanks for the suggestion! We do love the California Grill. We actually had our rehearsal dinner there the night before our wedding. So, I was hoping to do something a little different this time...
